This morning I woke up with a smile. And not because today was anything special, but because I had such an hilarious dream! (And if you're one of those people who don't enjoy hearing about other people dreams you can stop reading here, it's your loss.) I dreamt that I had managed to get invited to a very exclusive concert, a joint venture between Metallica and Crashtest Dummies. This concert was to take place in a conference room in an office building where I recently did a project for work. (I must admit that the interior looked way more fantastic than I actually designed it in real life, but I guess dreams don't have to limit themselves with boring and silly things such as budgets or gravity.) I did not really dream all that much about the actual concert, except that all of the artists were dressed like the Beatles on the cover of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band-album. And they all had long hair (not so surprisingly) and John Lennon glasses (definitely surprisingly). After the concert I talked a little bit with the Metallica-drummer, who in this particular dream wasn't at all called Lars Ulrich (my all time favourite drummer by the way) but instead Silvio Ontario. Anyone know where that came from? I have no clue. As a great finally of this amazing event all of the artist stood on the stage, behind a white picked fence, and threw pealed oranges on us in the audience. And we threw them back. It was all very messy and funny and orange. And a pretty great way to start a day.
