Did I tell you about my demijohn?

I found this large glass-bottle over at our recycling area close to our house this summer. It's been living in our garden since then, but it was allowed to move in with us for the colder season. And now I know what this jumbo-bottle is called! In Sweden they're called damejeanne, or damejane, which is French for Lady Jane, but in English they're called demijohn or carboy! I love to learn new words, especially beautiful and singular words like this. According to Wikipedia a carboy "is a rigid container with a typical capacity of 20 to 60 L. Carboys are primarily used for transporting fluids, often water or chemicals".

Hello Jane, welcome to our home
