getting serious

Hi folks,

I'm having a laid back day today, after a week or so of being busy working on my homepage and the graphics for the dance event I've mentioned before. Now things are starting to come together and I actually delivered my final version of the show program today to be sent to the printer, and that should be it for my part for the show! I'm also quite happy with how my homepage and online portfolio look, but I'm going to add a few more features before I officially launch it. I'm also going to start selling some of my prints and patterns! Right now only via print-on-demand sites like Society 6, so I wont exactly earn a bunch of money from it, but I feel it's a good way to start. Makes it feel more serious and professional... I'm having my final video-conference with my illustration teacher from Berghs School of Communication tomorrow afternoon and together we will go through my portfolio so I can get some feedback and improve it even more.

When I come back from my adventures this summer I plan to launch my homepage and start promoting my business. I haven't got a plan for how just yet, but somehow I will try to find the courage to for example post about my business on Facebook and LinkedIn, even though that feels extremely weird. The reason being most people - who don't follow me on Instagram - have no idea what I have been up to for the past few years, since I rarely post on Facebook and I guess either thinks I still work as an architect or am a housewife. Well.

Another thing I want to start doing more is networking... also something I am horrible at, as I prefer staying at home in front of the computer, so I'll most likely try to find an online network to begin with.
